We met you in the summer of '08 taking you to the airport. We are Mandy Van Maanen's aunt and uncle from Iowa. I found your address in our scrapbook from our trip and wondered how you were. I love your poem. I am reading the book by John of the Cross - the Ascent of Mt. Carmel. Your poem reminds me of his writings. Have you ever read his work or his other book - Dark Night of the Soul. I am just reading your blog. It's great to catch up to you. Jeff and I are doing well. We are busy with our grandkids - we had 3 born last year making 6 total. Hope to hear from you.
