just stop for the one

i've been doing a lot of research lately, to get lots of facts and figures in my head about human trafficking, child slavery and many other dark issues that plague our world today. it can all be a bit overwhelming to say the least. the problems are so big, so massive. how are we going to break the chains and free the oppressed. there's so many that need to be freed, need to be rescued, need to be loved. how are we ever going to do it. then i am reminded of what i learned from heidi baker, just stop for the one. freeing the thousands starts with freeing the one. rescuing the thousands starts with rescuing the one. loving the thousands starts with loving the one. when i look at it that way then i don't get too overwhelmed because i can always stop for the one.
