Locks of Love (Updated)

Do something good with your hair....don't just cut it off. If you've got long hair and you've considered getting a hair cut, donate your hair to Locks of Love. Last Thursday I made an appointment to get my hair cut short so it would be easier for when I go to South Africa. My hairstylist asked me if I would be interested in donating my hair to Locks of Love....I said yes, of course, so I had to just go one inch shorter than I had planned. So, I had about 10-11 inches cut off the back. I am sooooo glad she said something because I had been considering to that several months back, but for some reason when I made the appointment it never entered my mind. Now my hair will be used to make a wig for a child suffering from long-term medical conditions that cause them to lose their hair...most of the time it is because of cancer.

So, before you cut off your hair, you might want to consider donating to Locks of Love ;or if it is not quite long enough yet grow it out a little longer so you can donate it.
